HISTORIC HASTINGS

Hastings County stretches from the sparkling waters of the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario north to the southern boundary of Alquonquin Park. Covering 2,300 square miles, it is the second largest county in Ontario. Its southern reaches were populated by Loyalist settlers. Largest centre is the city of Belleville on the Bay of Quinte.
