THIS WEB SITE has been created by Wallbridge
House Publishing of Belleville, Ontario to promote local
history books and books with a local or regional theme. The purpose
of the site is to offer an Internet presence at a reasonable
cost to promote local histories.
AUTHORS may purchase a page on this
site at an introductory price of $80 a year.
Corporate and commercial rates are $110 for a page,
a business listing and a link to a business web site.
An "author" may be
an individual, an historical society, a service club, a church
or any other group which has a book or books of good quality
and general interest for sale to the public.
Published a book? This
site is for you!
What we need when you subscribe:
- A brief general description
of your book (250 words)
- A photo of yourself
- A sample of the book's cover
- A brief personal biography
(200 words)
- Pertinent details of the book:
Publication date, ISBN number, name of printer or publisher,
number of pages, number of photos (black and white or colour),
cover (hard or soft, dust jacket or not), the purchase price
of the book in both Canadian and U.S. dollars, and instructions
on where to place the order (e-mail address, fax, phone, mailing
address)
- A cheque for $85.60
($80 plus GST)
- If you want to include a separate
page of photos from your book (highly recommended), contact us
for details.
Historical societies or other groups should include a description
of the community that the book is about.
Booksellers, printers,
graphic arts houses
and other businesses involved in the local history
trade are also invited to purchase pages. Price: $117.70,
including GST. Also includes a business listing and
a link to your web site.
You don't have to know anything
about building web pages! We do it for you!
Up to three books by one author can be promoted on
the same page. However, there will be an additional
$40 charge for each additional book. All pages will
be formed from a template (click on any book page
on the site for an example).

If you wish to make your book available through littlebrickbookhouse
in connection with a traditional bookstore, please indicate this.
Fine print: Purchase of a page or pages
on the web site entitles the subscriber to a one-year
listing with littlebrickbookhouse.com. The agreement
may be terminated at any time but the website fee
is non-refundable. We reserve the right to review
a book before accepting it for posting on this site.
