ABOUT FRIESENS CORP.

Friesens was begun by D.W. Friesen in his confectionery story in Altona, Manitoba in 1907. Today it is one of Canada’s leading independent companies specializing in book manufacturing. Recognizing that the plant is located far from most its customers, Friesens has developed a strategy which enables it to rely on in-house capabilities and internal controls to ensure that orders are delivered when you need them. All procedures, including book-binding, are done in the Friesens manufacturing plant in Altona, about 100 kilometres south of Winnipeg.
